Makkah Masjid in Hyderabad, Telangana

Amer Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan

Amer Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan was built as a fortified palace in 1592.

The stones used are a pastel ocher color, and the fort presents a sight to behold when sunlight hits its walls.

It has a two kilometer long tunnel full of ramps and stairs that connects to the Cheel ka Teela (Hill of the Eagles) of the Aravalli range.

The Golden Temple of Amritsar

The Golden Temple is located in the heart of Amritsar and is the most popular Gurudwara.

It was named after the outer layer of gold leaf that beautifully covers the entire temple.

The temple is renowned for its captivating architecture and peaceful ambience.

It has a free community kitchen that serves a vegetarian meal called languor to around 50,000 visitors each day.

Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh

Built between 1631 and 1648 AD, the first glimpse of the white marble Taj Mahal mausoleum in Agra takes your breath away.

It is a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture, in addition to being one of the seven wonders of the world.

Around 22,000 painters, stonemasons, workers and embroiderers have together created this marvelous marvel which attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Jaisalmer or the golden city of Rajasthan

Located amidst the vast expanses of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer has several grand palaces of royalty Rajput Gharana.

Camel safari, desert safari, camping and paramotoring are some of the exhilarating experiences tourists try here.

Local bazaars in Jaisalmer offer special yellow sandstone pieces, handicrafts and ornaments that attract people from all over the world.

Authentic Rajasthani dishes in Jaisalmer are also incredibly good.
