The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to resume tourism in the state from today. The announcement of the reopening of all major tourist attractions was made on Wednesday by Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivas Rao. He said that with the number of positive cases having dropped in the country, tourist sites can now reopen from Thursday.
The minister also said that they will plan a roadshow across the country to popularize tourist attractions in the state. He further informed that Blue Bay Hotel of Tourism Department at Rushikonda in Visakhapatnam will be developed with INR 164 crore.
