Hollywood beauty is the next big name to show her love for the Emerald Isle as Elizabeth Banks visits some of Ireland’s top tourist attractions.
After Matt Damon arrived on Irish shores last year, big names like Patrick ‘McDreamy’ Dempsey, the beautiful Amy Adams and the hugely popular Hugh Grant have appeared on Irish soil.
As Ireland proves to be increasingly popular as a filming location for major Hollywood films, this may be just the beginning.

Irish fans of the Hunger games will be delighted to see that Effie Trinket aka Elizabeth Banks has visited some of Ireland’s top tourist attractions.
In a charming, humorous and so realistic Instagram post, Banks showed his followers what summer in Ireland really looks like.
Banks looks as fabulous as ever posing at Bullock Harbor in Dublin, donning a bright yellow sweater, shorts and a straw hat. Accompanying the photo, she wrote: “Today marks the second time I’ve worn shorts in Ireland.”

During her trip to Ireland, the Hollywood star visited some of Ireland’s most popular attractions.
Despite the weather, Banks and her husband, Max Handelman, visited the iconic Cliffs of Moher. As one of the must-see stops on the Wild Atlantic Way, no trip to the Emerald Isle would be complete without a visit to this beautiful location in County Clare.
Posting in his own words, ‘Irish spam’, Banks posted a reel showing the beauty of this iconic landmark. She wrote: “It’s like Big Sur but with Irish weather.”
Its subscribers were quick to comment on the typical Irish summer weather. One of them wrote: “It would be a great country if we could put a roof over it, Elizabeth. “
More celebrity sightings – Patrick Dempsey’s love for Ireland
However, Elizabeth Banks is not the only celebrity visiting some of Ireland’s top tourist attractions. “McDreamy,” aka Patrick Dempsey, also shared his love for Ireland on social media.
