Malad’s Erangal beach will soon become a tourist spot: the tourist spots of Mumbai



In a recent decision, the state government planned to develop Malad-baed Erangal beach as a tourist destination. The project is being considered under the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) under which Aksa Beach and Marve Beach around Erangal Beach will also be targeted as a center of tourist attraction.

A large number of people come to Mumbai every year, and the city boasts of numerous beaches. According to the discussions, if the government builds tourist centers with adequate facilities on the land under MTDC at Erangle beach, the department will enjoy economic benefits and the beach could become popular as a tourist attraction, which will attract many tourists to the waterfront. . In addition to this, residents living in neighboring areas will also benefit from many new employment opportunities.

With these prospects in mind, the government of Maharashtra has now decided to develop this beach as a tourist destination. As per the current plan, MTDC envisions overnight camps and sand bikes as an attraction for tourists. However, if this plan is approved, the team will need a solid infrastructure that can be planned in the MTDC field. No decision has been taken to understand whether the same will be developed under the public-private partnership. Authorizations will also be requested from the cabinet in this regard.

Minister of Tourism of the State of Maharashtra Aaditya Thackeray and local MP Aslam Sheikh visited the area a few days ago. Reports indicate that residents from areas like Virar, Vasai, Badlapur, Palghar and South Mumbai are visiting the famous Erangal Beach Fair, and following the development and facilities of the tourist center, citizens will be able to share better experiences and enjoy of the same . It will also attract a large crowd during the holidays.
