Route 66 is full of quirky roadside attractions and surprises along the way – it’s all part of what makes driving the Mother Road so much fun! And perhaps one of Illinois’ most quirky roadside attractions is a very atypical statue of Paul Bunyan with a story behind it. Located in the small town of Atlanta, this is one attraction you can’t help but notice and where you want to stop.
In these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list at a later date.
