Statue of Unity: 16 MoUs signed at pre-Vibrant Summit event; The Taj Group pledges to create a hotel near the Statue of Unity in Kevadia

No less than 16 memorandums of understanding (MoU), including one for the construction of a hotel near the world’s tallest statue of unity in Kevadia by Taj Group, were signed on Monday ahead of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, according to an official statement issued on Monday.

With this, a total of 96 MoUs were signed during five such events which were held every Monday as part of the pre-Vibrant event ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be held in the state capital, Gandhinagar, from 10 to 10 January. 12.

In the 16 memorandums of understanding signed on Monday, the companies proposed investments for energy-from-waste and waste-to-oil plants, the installation of patented equipment to control air pollution and virus disinfection. , bacteria with an innovative approach to environmental protection, etc., according to an official statement.

“A memorandum of understanding has also been signed by the Taj Group to build a hotel at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, a world-leading tourist destination,” the statement said.

He added that this hotel project will generate immense job opportunities for tribal youth in the area. “In addition to this, self-employment prospects will also be created through various cottage and cottage industries.”

The fifth pre-Vibrant MoU also included a 70 megawatt hybrid renewable energy park, a disinfectant formulation plant, a specialty chemical as well as radar equipment for the production of thermal imaging cameras and other accessories for the defense sector, the statement said.

The MoUs were signed in the presence of Revenue Minister Rajendra Trivedi, State Minister for Industries Jagdiash Vishwakarma and other officials from the State Department of Industries and Mines.
