On the occasion of the 69th anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Kevdadia region in the Narmada valley. The tallest statue in the world, the Statue of Unity is located in Kevadia, Gujarat, where the prime minister visited early Tuesday and shared a beautiful aerial video. During his visit to Kevadia, PM Modi visited many tourist attraction sites in the region. In particular, the government informed earlier that a number of projects will be inaugurated to make Kevadia a tourist destination in its own right, the Statue of Unity being the center of attraction. According to the plan, these projects should be inaugurated on October 31, on the anniversary of the birth of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In addition, the Statue of Unity will end its year of existence on the same day. He was informed by the government that many tourism projects will be unveiled at a ceremony on October 31. Prime Minister Modi celebrated his birthday by paying tribute to the Narmada River during the “Maa Narmada Poojan” ceremony. He also inaugurated Narmada Mahotsav.

While visiting different places in Kevadia, the PM also visited the Khalvani eco-tourism site in Kevadiya, Narmada district on Tuesday. The ecotourism site is the best way to discover the Narmada valley.
